Designer Favourites: An Inspiring trip to KBB Birmingham.

Our designers recently visited the KBB Birmingham Exhibition. We caught up with our suppliers, spotted exciting new trends and got familiar with industry leading products. Here’s what we took away from our visit:

We still love our stone back panels, mirrors and boards. However, it’s been a couple of decades since tiles were taking a creative lead.

A winning colour combination

Green & Pink

While blue and grey are still trending, we are now seeing the emergence of a cool new colour combination: Green & Pink. Pink and terracotta shades are a great way to warm up cool green hues.

From paints and tiles, worktops and cabinet materials. More homeowners are extending kitchen spaces to incorporate the outdoors in the the heart of the home. The natural look of the kitchen marries seamlessly with the outdoor space.

As well as the continuing evolution of integrated control between smart phones and cooking appliances I saw that many lighting suppliers, like ZUMA, have integrated smartphone control for lighting applications.
