Isobel Macintyre, Designer

As an industry, we are taking steps towards sustainability. Including where your products come from and how long they will last. David L Douglas has never been aligned with the built-in disability, and our products are built with crafts and longevity in mind.

We still love our stone back panels, mirrors and boards. However, it’s been a couple of decades since tiles were taking a creative lead.

A winning colour combination

Green & Pink

While blue and grey are still trending, we are now seeing the emergence of a cool new colour combination: Green & Pink. Pink and terracotta shades are a great way to warm up cool green hues.

Armac Martin Hardware

Armac Martin’s new hardware collections are beautiful. Brass handles and latches that are a joy to see, and touch.

Dave Penman, Designer

My experience with David L Douglas clients tells me that they are design conscious and are looking for something individual that reflects there own tastes.

Outdoor Kitchens

Lockdown has highlighted the need to get together as friends and family. Outdoor entertaining has increased, why not do it in style?

We're embracing...

Natural colours and textures.

From paints and tiles, worktops and cabinet materials. More homeowners are extending kitchen spaces to incorporate the outdoors in the the heart of the home. The natural look of the kitchen marries seamlessly with the outdoor space.

As well as the continuing evolution of integrated control between smart phones and cooking appliances I saw that many lighting suppliers, like ZUMA, have integrated smartphone control for lighting applications.
